Got a Slim ps2 today as i bought a fresh one today for swap magic 3.6,wont be getting my copy of swap magic 3.6 & swap tool pro 2006 until torrmorow.well heres the question.I was wondering if rebuilding a game changes the size of the game, changes the performance of the backup game?, help the ps2 read easier?

is rebuilding a game good or not? cause i have Fight Night Round 3 and Rugby 2006 and i was wondering should i rebuild them so i can have better performance of the media/game,make it smaller?

Most times it makes the game smaller than the TOC size of swap magic, so you can load it. Have a look here to see if a game needs rebuild: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/176791

i had to rebuild my rugby 2006,
verbatim x8
dvd decrpyter
gnie expert 1.3 (did not relink)
Nero (burned at x4)
swap/m 3.6 slide tool
ps2 v7 (uk)
works ok.

so sometimes, yes it needs to be rebuilt. there are many threads and stickies wich will give you a full explanation as to why. read on, and good luck.

I probably wouldn't go as far as saying that nearly all EA games needs rebuild, of course you COULD rebuild all the games you have though... but again I'd check the link above to see if you need to rebuild it or not
