ive got tekken iso when i boot it with devhook 42 the screen goes blank why is this can anyone help me out here? cheers

probably have to patch it or something, since i know it's not an original, u might have to change prx's too or something...does it crash ur psp?

ive got a rip kit but i aint got clue how to use it it says(Tekken Dark Resurrection JAP FIX & RIPKIT by 4FuN :
- unpack this archive in the Juiced Eliminator iso directory and run ffn.bat for windows or ffn.sh for linux
- tested with Devhook 0.42

put the iso in the same folder as the ripkit. then run one of the files. forgot which, but that should turn it to 850kb

But you see the significance of devhook is you DONT HAVE TO PATCH GAMES when emulating 2.71. I have the rip of the us version and no prx swaps. Works flawlessly. Upgrade your devhook to .44 or .45. The link in my sig takes u to the ultimate installer and it does it all for you except input the correct settings needed to run a game. The reason why it doesnt work tho is devhook .42 can only emulate up to 2.5. Tekken needs 2.6. Once again devhook .45 can emulate 2.71.

This was helpful but i cant get it to work.
I have a 1.50 PSP with GTA in the drive and Tekken Eur ISO.
Devhook 0.45 installed perfectly and i selected the options in the menu.
When i go to play the game it asks me to update software.
I have the 2.71 iso. PLEASE help.

if you use the link in hex's sig, it wont ask you to upgrade :)

Thank you for replying.
I did use the link and it still asks me to upgrade.
If i hover over the UMD symbol in game on the PSP then it shows Tekken as if i had the game but when i select to play it it says "to start, you must update the system software"
Any ideas?? Have you played it??

i havent played it , but that shouldnt be like that, with the ultimate installer did you select the option to install 2.71 firmware ?

It was my stupidity that was the problem i hadn't selected 2.71 in the devhook, firmware menu.
