im gonna sound like a real n00b now lol. ive tried to get the flash files by using mph firmware launcher. but it just shuts off. can somebody please give me a link where i can find the 2.6 flash please. thnx :)

download the rapidshare version just put dh on root and get 2.5 dump from sumwhere if u ever want to emulate 2.5 and put the files in 250 in dh...and put the other two folders in game....

question: I am at work now, so I can't try this but -

the way I set my current DevHook (0.42a) is I put a 2.50 UMD in the drive and extracted the PSAR data directly from the UMD.

Now, I know 2.60 is hella encrypted, so do I need special decrypted files from a 2.60 user or, since I am going to buy Coast to Coast anyway, can I just dump the PSAR data from the UPDATE on the UMD? I mean, has Booster set this up so this new DevHook WILL dump the PSAR data in the 260 folder in "dh"??? I would figure he would have...

Anybody?

No, KyKy - the new DevHook 2.60 emu will play ALL games up to 2.60. I'm sure there's even a possibility of being able to play 2.70 games once they're released, by using 2.60 PRX files just as we did w/ 2.60 games and 2.50 PRX files...

I have just read the release about Devhook 0.43 on PSPUpdate, just wanted to clarify exactly what I can and can't do with this!

I understand that by using Devhook 0.43 I can load a v2.6 Firmware emulator. This will then let me use functions like the web browser only available in these F/Ws and also play UMD-based games that require F/W v2.6 (or below)?

Can I also play isos of games that require F/W v2.6 (or below) using a UMD emulator? If so which one?

You can Play iso's and umds requiring 2.6 and below using this specific loader called devhook v0.43...

You'll be able to load ISOs requiring 2.60 FW or lower using this new release of DevHook. Forget all other loaders. They're almost obsolete as this new version of DevHook can load 98% of ALL games. You should be able to use the web browser, but the bus speed has to be 222MHz, not 333. If you're not sure how to do this, just choose an ISO and launch it at 222. Then, exit from teh game using the "Home" button. Once you get to the XMB, you will be in 2.60 emu mode. Use the browser from there.

Hey,
I have heard recently that the web browser in some cases is not running properly...I havent tested it myself (no access point)try the 333 MHZ fix or just replace wlan.prx

Another thing I have noticed is that the UMD's even on 333MHz are running quite slow and lagging for eg- World cup 06...Lets hope we have a fix soon! But until then I credit booster and would like to thank him for such a great Loader!

You can be sure I'm headed right out to the mall after work to pick up Coast to Coast. I'll be playing that game until the wee hours of the morning... :D

I don't like what I read from amitguru about how games are still lagging on 333. That kinda sucks. But Coast to Coast is all I wanna play. Hopefully that will work, at least...

RE: Coast to Coast hacking: I couldn't do it. I had one more idea as to how to get it working, but I just gave up. I'm glad it's working now tho...
