Hello guys,

I went to the shop to nuy the psp today buy when i got there, i saw that the one they had on display has 1003 written on it in both balck and white colour, so I couldnt find it written any where there v1.5 so i changed my mind.

Is it goood to go or not?

please help as i cant wait to get my hand on one of those things.

1003 is bad. becuase it is not supported by the downgrader or modchip. But if it is all you can get its probally okay becuase im sure someone will make a hack for it.

psp 1001k is a good one to get it has 2.01 firmware on it and its not the TA-082 not downgradeable motherboard.

ermm well its up to you if you want homebrews n iso and stuff you will have to look hard for a v1.5 ect ect but if you just want a plain normal psp v2.6 2.71 you can get em brand new for £140 or less

btw all psps in uk say 1003k on them and all americans are 1001k im not sure what japanese are.

they do not decided what fw the psp is but what region they are

ive just bought a new 1003K psp with factory 2.5 on it and downgraded last night no problem at all.

please guys am set to go at last but one last bit.

I finally found a value pack for about 140 something fine.

But what is the content of the so called "value pack" does it come with the demo disk or not. Also it is a version 2.0 so i can easily downgrade.

you get a demo disk in it and all the normal things headphones soft case 32mb card strap all the normal stuff. n yes i think 2.0 is easy to downgrade well it must be if we r now downgrading from v2.6.
