hi i know there is a 10 percent change of bricking a psp and was wondering is this a noob or jst a chance or the motherboard or factory as it is i have a 1.5 but i bought it second hand 2.0 for £150 and i would sell it and get a shiny new one as long as i could get it to 1.5 any help would be apprecated

I have downgraded a 2.00, there is no risk!

Just keep the AC adaptor plugged in.
Download from reliable places.
And follow these instructions exactly:

OK, then you should edit your post (as it says 2.0)

The 2.5 Downgrader is in beta so it could brick your PSP. However many people have successfully downgraded (including Sudds from these forums)
But make sure that you do not have the TA-082 motherboard and your PSP did not originally come with firmware 2.5 (you updated it).

Just check your mobo is compatible
