No its not going to hurt it. The processor is a 333 mhz processor, sony just had set it to run at 222 mhz.

Damnit I do that alot. I type to fast. I need to slow down but, TBH I have no idea why they would set it to run 222 mhz. I think its because when you're playing games and doing normal things its at 222 mhz. But when you surf the net or watch videos, it switches to 333. I could be totally wrong tho and probably am. But thats my guess. Well see what other people say.

im pretty sure it's becuase it would waste to much battery power clocked at full speed whenever its turned on. as long as the games can run properly at 222mhz its fine for sony.

Yeah I read an article about it somewhere.

They under-clock it to save battery power.

I think they are planning to release new batteries that can last longer, and when they do they will put it back to 333 MHz.

Because before it was released, many people criticized the PSP for not having enough battery life.

i know 333Mhz is faster then 222Mhz, but exactly what other advantages can be gained by that when loading an iso? faster load times or something? i'm just trying to figure out if there's a way to get my GTA:LCS ISO(on my 2x1.5psps) to work w/ my GTA:LCS UMD (on my 2.6psp).....the umd one loads slower and because of that will lose connection...
