Hi All, i've seen on the web there are downgraders for firmware version 2.6 (to get it to 1.5), but i've read that if your psp came firmware version 2.6 the downgraders wont work. Can any1 shed some light on this please?

Thanks in advanced

If your psp is a factory 2.6 then there is definitely a higher risk of bricking and you def can't have the TA-082 mobo. Some people with factory 2.6 have got the downgrade to work so it's up to you if you wanna risk it....

did you search at all before you posted, or just posted your question w/o asking, there's tons of threads on this.

don't mind my MSPaint job, i was in too much of a hurry to bother w/ making a better one in Photoshop. but it's quick simple and to the point.

which 'code' because that paint photo lists 2 spots for codes, the left side is safe to downgrade that ;code' is partially hidden behind some metal in the umd drive, u can read some of it...if the code is on the right u can read all of it, and that's not safe to downgrade.
