OK so, i know many people have been asking for help and everyones getting sick n tired of reasing these posts. But ive read all teh posts that have come up and im yet to find an answer. Lets start off by tellin u my specs: So obviously i have a psp version 1.5 , devhook .43 , 4gb sandisk memory stick and ive used the firmware installer to do just that... [install 2.5 firmware, wich i picked up on http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/361257 ] Anyways Ive ALWAYS had the following problem with all the other versions of devhook.. i use the correct settings to run the game... ex:
UMD Select: Fifa Street 2.iso
UMD Mount: ISO ANYUMD
Firmware: 2.50+2.00
Boot Select: Reboot XMB
UMD Version: 2.XX -> 2.00
CPU Clock: 333 MHz
well when i hit restart xmb... the memstick load light stays steady and 10 seconds after it shuts down on me.... PLEASE help, ive been tryin for well over 8 hours total. Thanks in advance!

It really sucks when you don't know, you know what I mean? I feel sorry for this kid... If only he could realise how easy this is. I wish I could actually visually see what is wrong so I could fix it. This posting crap is so limited sometimes. Good luck gettin that set up FCB. 2.60 emu is the SH1T!!!!

I dunno, I dled 3 diff "full" packages.
each had a diff amount of files in em.
I had to keep mix n matching them till I got it to work.
I used chaos zeros, and then had to apply the updated 43 on top of it
before it worked.
now to figure out the load umd shortcut...

Well you dont have to do that now. Because the one I posted above is the latest one made by Chaos Zero. Which includes all the new fixes that were released today.
Happy Hacking!

I Had the same problem with the PSP shutting down after a few seconds. It seems obvious but you should check your install. It's simple enough. The db file goes outside with the ISO and PSP files. The files inside the game folder (when you unpack) go into the game folder i.e. PSP/Game/............
Saying that though, I still havent managed to get Daxter running. Does the new 2.6 version support it now because Im not getting anywhere? Also, how hard is Megaman: Powered up!!! I played for an hour yesterday, had to continue 8 times and only managed to beat the Ice guy and the Axe guy!!!

What game are you trying to load?
What settings were you using?
Yeah, most games that didn't work before should now work. Its supposed to run all games untouched. So be sure to try your ISO untouched before you try fixing it.
