sum1 told me of a way to get (at least something resembling it) windows XP on a PSP
first go to download.com and search for pspwxp
its hosted by download.com so u know its not a virus
then unzip it and read the readme to install.
i did this and it works perfectly. i am using version 2.71
the coolthing is it has games. maybe sum1 can hack into 2.71 for the regular homebrew stuff using this, what seems to be abrowser exploit.
just wonderin.

you cant do it. Simple. If it takes Windows 98 15 minutes to boot, why would you want XP.
ALso, i have come to conclusion that this is fake. If it was real there would be real time footage. Not pictures. WHich makes me believe that the screens were photoshoped.

i had an xp shell on my psp before. i cant remember what ot was called though lol. but i think irshell kicks @ss all day lol

IrShell SUCKS ass all day! I hate that shell. I think the shell you may be talking about is winPSPortal.

irshell isnt as good as a shell compared for others . but with a file assistant, ir remote, pmf player, text reader and a rar and zip extractor and loadz more .i think its awesome for when you are on the move.

Don't get me wrong; I DO like the fact that it can unRAR and unZIP. That's just sick and the dev is a great dev. I like how you can transfer files of ANY size via IR. However, this is pointless for me b/c I don't know ANYONE w/ a PSP. It really sucks. I wish I did know ppl or have friends w/ PSPs.

well theres a group of us in school who have psp's. so we send each other our iso's via wifi thru irshell, takes a while though :(

Now THAT'S cool! I wish I knew ppl who had PSPs as I had said. I played GTA:LCS via wifi ONCE. It was awesome! And funny. Here's how it went down:
Me and this kid were playing races. He was hosting b/c I couldn't get mine to work, so I just joined his hosted session. We started racing and it was fun for a minute, but it got old quick. We wanted to goof off, plus we were both high, so he got out of his car and I kept running him over. We were both laughing our arses off, but everytime I would go to run him over, he would shoot my car. And kept shooting my car and I kept running him over. Eventually my car started smoking, caught fire and he shot my car one last time as I approached him to run him over again. It blew up and we both died. I was in the car and his character's body went flying backward. LOL It was so funny and I STILL laugh when I think about it to this day...
It's always fun in multiplayer games (like Halo) to join up and kick some arse. BUT - there is ALWAYS that turning point where you wanna screw with your friend and shoot him once and laugh. Then your friend shoots you and you shoot him back and then you find yourself either running or chasing... It becomes an all-out war. I remember this one time I walked up behind my friend in Halo and I wanted to mess w/ him by hitting him on the back of the head w/ the pistol. I didn't know it would kill him. oops! So I grabbed his gear (sniper rifle, grenades, etc.) and ran like hell, laughing the whole way. I apologized, but it was still funny. LOL

i can see ipirates point, but why would we want to play sega and snes games from over 15 years old on a system from 2005, because we can, we do! lol. ( and some retro games rule)

I wouldnt think it would harm it and also i think that nintendo (SNES) owns the segas especially the megadrive however sonic was quite addictive but mario was just a classic!

Its not supposed to, as its not overclocking. Actually Sony have been underclocking the PSP to enhance battery life. So 333MHz shouldn't harm it.

Yeah, but its not actually overclocking
We're just running the PSP at its normal processing power.
BTW Did you know that the graphics processor was also underclocked?
Maybe thats why new games like Tekken look so much better.
