my mobo is fine its IC6001 so no probs on the 'Easy 2.50/2.60 Downgrader' download page it says
'Your PSP CANNOT be a factory 2.50/2.60 PSP! It had to have been updated once before from a previous version or the downgrader will not work, thus a brick'
if i update my factory v2.5 to v2.6 then run 'Easy 2.50/2.60 Downgrader' will this result in bricking my psp or a successful downgrade?
If any people out there that have successflly downgraded a factory 2.5 psp please reply!!

i hate them. People need to search,
i got an idea for the site, if a user who is a newbie doesnt make 25 good posts in a month is removed, or a newbie who is inactive for a month is removed. just so the site can be cleaned up a little. Just a suggestion.

Naw I wouldn't agree with that. I mean I joined in like 2003 or something, but I left my account there w/o posting anything. Then when the PSP Forum was created I started posting (and I was still a newbie).

well its just a thought, i mean why do we need members who dont contribute to the site that are still in the newbie state unless they notify someone of there absence.

For my two cents,
I think you guys are being too harsh on the newbies. They don't know any better. And If we want them to contribute we shouldn't be so harsh on them. I know, I know It can get pretty tiring answering the same question or referring them to a sticky they could have found easily. But you still don't have to be so rude to em (not to mention its against the rules) If it a newbie whos posting for the first time, link them to what they are looking for and also link them to the search page for future questions..
for instance
Yes you can find your downgrader here at http://www.psp-hacks.com. You can find answers to frequently asked questions in the stickies on the first page of the psp forum or using http://forums.afterdawn.com/search/, if not feel free to ask.
See that's nicer. And maybe they'll stay and contribute.
I did, eternalis did, sudds did, piecefull did, many others stayed and became good members.
You can be a senior member or addict,
It doesnt mean you kno more, just that you posted more.
For instance, even tho he doesnt like me, Eternalis was like a senior member as a newbie. After his second post he was helping out with the newbies and contributing.
Not bitching, and I'm not a mod so obviously no ones getting in trouble for this, I just think that we oughta be nicer to noobs.

Like you said Joeva, title is based on posts. In that sense, why shouldnt we tell them to search and find answers on their own? I have helped enough people to be able to say this. I am currently in a battle with a junior member who thinks he can crack 2.70 firmware, yet doesnt know how to use MPH to obtain his own flash. It gets real old, real fast. The member in this thread is asking a painfully obvious question, and a simple click of the search button would show the procedure is the same regardless of how you obtained your 2.5/2.6 firmware. Lets get real here, its also a forum rule TO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON Im all for helping people out, but the psp forum has been going downhill fast as of late. Its about time to show others that searching and learining for yourself is a virtue.

Hmm,
Point taken.
But honestly answer this. And not just you, anyone who is a junior member and up.
Before you posted the first time did you read the forum rules?
exactly
i know they can ask questions sometimes that they've answered already.
But does gettin angry or being rude to one stop other newbs from doing the same thing?
exactly
So you try and nip it in the newbs when their young.
you are looking for is here http://www.blahblahblah.com/blahblah and next time use the search button before asking.
Dude, we had a senior member who was here and he would ask questions that he coulda found searching.
im not singling u out stang, im just saying if you let yourself get angry when someone asks you a newb questions. You are going to be very grumpy on AD lol.
Then you'll be an AA on two levels...
Afterdawn Addict & Alcohol Annonymous lol.
P.S. No one says you have to answer. If the question is that newbie to you. Don't answer let someone else answer and up their post count at the same time.
