Hi all, I have recently downgraded to 1.5 (from 2.6, thank god for the downgrader).
I am now looking into more of teh homebrew scene and all seems well.
I recently found a download for Worms Open Warfare, so I downloaded it. It comes with a RunUMD application for starting the game. Anyone else had games from www.espalpsp.com??? Anyone else had trouble?
Ok I have downloaded and copied the files to my PSP so now on the root of my mem-stick I have the following folders.....
PSP
GAME_NAME ( I also download Street fighter, but trying one at a time)
X
I turn on the PSP run the "RunUMD" app, and it comes up with a black screen saying to press 'o' to extract files, or press 'x' to run the game....
I press 'x' and the light on the left hand side of my PSP flashes for only a second but nothing happens.... after about 10 seconds the PSP turns off.
I have tried many different ways of getting this work, including trying to run with an original UMD in the drive (WipeOut Pure), and without....
Can anyone shed some light on this for me as this is the first time I have done this.
Thanks in advance

The thing is, like I said, Im pretty new to this...
I would have thought the ISO would be one file e.i. *.ISO
The worms download and the street fighter one, comes with 3 folders...
PSP/GAME/RunUMD <---- for starting it
GAME_Folder <-------- Containing 'SYSDIR' and 'USRDIR'
x <------------------ Containing all the PRX files
Would the newest version of DevHook sort all this out?

Ok so thats what I have... I cooy all of that onto a blank media stick and insert into the PSP... try and run the program, it comes up with a black screen saying.....
Press 'o' to extract files
Press 'x' to start the game
If I press 'o' I get an error to do with not being able to read the drive (same if an original UMD is in)
If I press 'x' then the light on the left flashes for 1 second and then shortly after the PSP turns off...
I hope this helps tam2oo5, oh and thanks in advance!

DAngel,
You have the x folder and the WormsOW folders in your root, and the Worms1 folder in your PSP/GAME folder? Thats the correct setup, you should go to the runumd app in the games part of your XMB and load it like any other homebrew app. When it says press O or X, press X and it should work. Not sure why it isn't for you, I have used this before and it has worked for me
This three folder method was made before Dark_Alex made the runumd mod for daxziso, as this was the only way 2.5+ games could work in those days. I haven't seen an iso for this anywhere, only the three folders.
USA Factory 1.5 > 2.71 SE-C > 3.03 OE-C, 4GB Sandisk + 1GB Sandisk, D-Pad Mod, SNES 9x_TYL 0.4.2, DGEN 1.70, NesterJ 1.11, DDR Mix V.1, PSP Revolution v.03 Anime, currently playing - Tony Hawk's Project 8, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, WSC 2007

hmmm so everything is set up ok as far as we can tell, but still nothing is working.
I will try and get a video up of it later today, but sure enough the PSP turns off...
What FW does Worms need to run?
@itensai: Dont give up on it... This is only one way for getting games to run.
Is there anyway to turn all of this back into an ISO file so that we can try other ways of starting it?
Or better yet, does anyone know how I can contact Dark_Alex? He might be eble to shed some light on it?
