I'm looking to get a laptop here in the next few weeks and I was curious what I should be looking for as far as a graphics card that will support World of Warcraft and it's expansion. I'm still up in the air as to whether to get an apple or pc also. Any advice would be helpful.

For now, get a PC. Apples are overpriced and very hard to find parts for.

For a good card for WoW. I Think a 7600GT would do you quite nicely.

I don't think it would. You would definitely have to turn down all the settings and the resolution. It might be fairly playable then.

It should give you playable performance but don't get your hopes up.

Well with the video card Im not a Big time gamer example Doom I mostly play my PSX games on my PC. PC games that I would play would be games such as halo, Tomb Raider Legends, Age Of Empires ( I found one laptop but a friend said the Video card was so bad it cant even play Rise of Nations, Warcraft 3, and some other games that were 3-4 years old lol)
I should ask the rep selling this if the card is upgradable and cross my fingers haha.
Edit: its price is 599 + tax (Can) i should of given the price first so I could hear if it's worth that price or not.

A Go 6600 or 7600 for nVvidia

or a mobility X700 or X1600 for ATi

Shouldn't be TOO expensive but still a bump up from the 599 on that other one. I'll give a link... here:

http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=202

Okay, might be a *bit* expensive but not too much so... save up and maybe get a dell. you can get a nice monthly payment deal with dell.
