hey i've just downgraded my psp from 2.0 to 1.5 :D and have installed devhook, with version 2 firmware, but now how do i play my games that are later than version 1.5? I'm using the actual umd disc, which to play is version 1.52 firmware. my version of devhook is 0.41, hope u guys can help. Cheers!

when i start up DevHook the settings are....
Target : (reboot XMB)
UMD-ISO :
UMD-MODE : UMD DISC
UMD Ver. : 2.xx -> 2.00
FLASH : ms0:/dh/200(MS HOOK)
CLOCK : 222/111
FW ver. : 01.05.0001
BATTERY : 4.072v

well change the UMD-ISO: option to umd disc, try that, come back if it doesnt work :)

hmmm when i start dev hook and go to change settings it comes up with:
START
UMD SELECT
UMD MOUNT
UMD VERSION
FIRMWARE
CPU CLOCK
BOOT SELECT
EXIT
i've meesed about with all the settings but there isn't nething that changes the UMD-ISO setting

sorry what i meant was, go to umd select and select the umd disc option , try that

tried that, the psp reboots as version 2.0, it then goes to title PSP bit before the game, then shuts down! :S this is confusing lol

well thats strange for a 1.52 game. well try your settings as:
UMDSELECT: UMDdisc
UMDMOUNT: UMDdisc
UMDVERSION: 2.XX ->2.00
fIRMWARE: 2.00
CPU: whatever you want
BOOTSELECT: reboot xmb
if not try downloading the newest version(the one in the link is ready to go all firmware files included etc)http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1S5JZXGH

Try changing the pre-load address (in DevHook OTHER settings), to:
89000000 as well.

i did nw its rebooting, and restarts and....... PLAYS! :D sorted thanks lol so much effort!!!! cheers for all ur help guys i appreciate it :D
