PSP- Help 2.5/2.6 downgrader made my psp version 13.37!

I had a firmware 2.6 psp until the 2.5/2.6 downgrader came out. I used the Lite version and I thought I successfully downgraded to 1.5 but I looked under SYSTEM SETTINGS in the MENU and this is what it said. Version 13.37! It's funny cuz homebrew still works but I cant load any UMD games besides the NHL-Gretszky game. I tried to update but it says "A later version of the system software is already installed. There is no need to update." Should I try to downgrade to 1.0 and why aren't my UMD games working? I'd appreciate any help.

You probally still have 1.5 but you have used the firmware spoof that makes your PSP think you have a higher firmware. I have heard of spoofs like 7.5 and 13.37. These wont help you much except on loading UMDs under 2.0

thats proble why only Gretszky works. But how do I get out of this firmware? Any advice?

Try using the Version Changer. Look in the downloads section of PSP-Hacks

strange never herd of that let us know how u fixed it
PS3 brilliant ive got a 20gb jap here in the uk to high customs tho £92.90 and the step down was 45 quid oh well its awsome

LOL 1337!!! That's funny. Art set it up that way when he made X-Flash. He said the 13.37 setting was for the 1337 h@xXors...
I don't think you can change the 13.37 setting tho. I don't know. I think you will need someone else that has changed their version setting to 13.37 thru X-Flash b/c when you trick change your firmware, the application you used creates a ".bak" file which are your default settings. When you wanna restore default settings, you have to have that ".bak" file for default settings to successfully be restored. If you like, I can change my setting to 13.37 later on tonight and then send you the ".bak" file. I am work now, so if you wanna see if someone else will help you w/ this in the meantime, ask around. Just tell them how you need to do it.

Thanx Guano! Your theory sounds like it will work but the funny thing is that I have never used X-flash! It got that way from the 2.5/2.6 downgrader. If there are any other firmware 13.37 people I would appreciate any help.

X flash alows you to do that to your firmware. Just run xflash and change the 13,37 firmware spoof back to normal

...Since this writes to the flash is there anything i need to know cuz I've never used X-flash and two of my friends bricked their psp's in doing stupid stuff in X-flash. So all I want to do is reverse the 13.37 to 1.5. Right?

yeah. I wouldnt mess around with the PMF opening video or anything like that unles you no what your doing. Xflash has the files it needs to change back to 1.5. just make sure you battery is charged and dont shut off your system untill its done.

X-Flash will work w/o the .bak file? I thot that was universal. Everything's built in? That's tight! I never used it that much, but I knew it was X-Flash as soon as he said v13.37.

Which one do i do?
1. Do I need the .bak file and do I have to add that file to a certain folder?
OR
2. Will X-Flash just do it by itself and all I need to do is click reverse 13.37 to 1.5 and it does it all by itself?

I have two genius ideas but i dunno which one to pick:
1. So I'm in X-Flash v.10 and I go to "Special Version 13.37 Spoofer" and press the circle button because circle reverses it. Is this all I do?
p.s.-> remember I got f/w 13.37 by downgrading from 2.6 not by using X-Flash so will it reverse and go to f/w 1.5 or will it show an error or corrupted data and then brick my psp?
OR COULD I...
2. Open X-Flash v.10 and go to "All Version Changer" and change the version to sumthing like 5.69, 6.66, 9.99, or 7.77 but it might brick cuz my psp is 13.37 not 1.5 but if it works I could just reverse it by pressing circle.
IM SO CONFUSED?
ANY ADVICE?

13.37 is ONLY done by X-Flash. Just try to change it back to v1.50. that's ultimately what you wanna do. I don't know if you can do it w/o the .bak file. Jared says you CAN, but I didn't know that. I'm sure he's right...
Just try it. But don't do 13.37 again and don't go to 5.55 or 6.66 or anything. Just look to see if you can change it to 1.50.

This is my favourite version changer. Just launch this and change your version to 1.50 w/ this.

I never used any bak file. I just copied the Two xflash folders into game and ran it with no problem

Yeah thanks I know where to download it from, but I was interested in where Jaycap got his download from. As his download seems to be spoofed and its not a nice thing to do to someone and it should be reported to site that he downloaded it from.
