PSP- Help 2.5/2.6 downgrader made my psp version 13.37!

To Yassagani,
I got the downgrader from pspupdates.com the lite version and got the 1.5 files from a certain sumone. He was posting comments under pspupdates.com that read "YOU WANT 1.5 FILES THAN E-MAIL ME AT " " I think he spoofed my psp. OMG. Thats why its 13.37! Atleast I think. Well that would make sense wouldn't it?

nevermind I contacted him and its version 13.37 b/c when he gave me the 13.37 files which were supposed to have 1.5 files which they were but he had version 13.37.

my mobo is fine its IC6001 so no probs on the 'Easy 2.50/2.60 Downgrader' download page it says
'Your PSP CANNOT be a factory 2.50/2.60 PSP! It had to have been updated once before from a previous version or the downgrader will not work, thus a brick'
if i update my factory v2.5 to v2.6 then run 'Easy 2.50/2.60 Downgrader' will this result in bricking my psp or a successful downgrade?
If any people out there that have successflly downgraded a factory 2.5 psp please reply!!

Omarasul,
I am sought of in the same predicament as you. I just bought a white PSP for 355 aussie bucks of ebay and it is a 2.01 version. I plan on updating it to 2.06 once i get it. I would love to download it to the 1.05 version but am at a major nervous to attempt it using the easy downloader in fear that I will brick it. I am told it is the one that cam be downgraded. But still I havent even received it yet and am still nervous

Well, before you downgrade, make sure you check what type of motherboard PSP has.
If it has a TA-082 motherboard, then you can't downgrade it.

Yeah I have been reassured that it is Not the TA082 motherboard and when I get it I will be double checking it again. Still I am nervous as hell.

awww man 13.37 this one sure made me laugh thanx yall i needed that and what kind os question is that 1.5 is the SHHHHH long as you have davhook you good guys please dont ask any question like that again

To Yassagani and omarrasul.
If I were you I would downgrade using the LITE version and just make sure you don't have the TA-082 motherboard. I have heard some people say they successfully downgraded from a factory 2.5/2.6 and others not. It's kind of a huge risk to downgrade but if you successfully downgrade their are a lot more advantages. Anyways it's up to you if you want the risk. And just to let you guys know I'm staying at 13.37 for life!
P.S.-> If you need the 1.5 files you can e-mail me at <jason_futebowl@hotmail.com>. Just to let you know these 1.5 files will make your psp version 13.37.

Advantages to version 13.37 are:
1. All homebrew works.
2. I can't upgrade "accidentally." I would have to use X-Flash to bring it back to 1.5 and then upgrade.
3. All UMD games work thanx to Devhook.
4. I can show off my 13.37 to all you 2.71- ppl.
5. It's just too cool to downgrade.

Ummmm...yeah, there's no real advantage having 13.37, its the same as 1.5!
I mean who would upgrade accidentally?
