what was the extention on the file you extracted (e.g.; .rar)? and what program did you use to extract the file?

you usually have to extract the files from an iso then extract a file again before you get to a .pss file. so someting got extracted wrong.

Yea, ISO files are defaulted to be disguised asa an WinRAR file. he mean the EXTENTION.

if you dont know how to figure out the Extension. look at this.

Open up any folder then go to...

then this

then finally you files should look sumthin likee this with the extention showin. like this

look man,
1. get the iso
2. get good quality dvds, i recommend verbatim and taiyo yuden
3. burn at half of the spped of the media, ex: if u get an 8x dvd , burn the iso at 4x
4. maybe ur not doing the swap process rightly, there are so many tutorials, look in www.swapmagic3.com

dont get frustrated. it only leads to more mistakes.

first, what version of swap magic do you have ( 3.0; 3.6; etc..)? what kind of ps2 do you have( slim or fat)? then, what tool are you using for the swap magic ( slide tool/magic switch or fliptop )?

have you used dvd decrypter(iso write )? what speed did you burn at?.. basically, all the juicy details needed to help you out. right now there are multiple reasons why it isnt working.
