well i just came out with this idea... i just was thinking then i relized that ive got my 1 year warranty.. what if i break the psp then regive it to futureshop am i gonna receive a psp with 2.6 fw?
*TIP* all this cuz i upgraded to 2.7 -.- gosh i regret

just take it back to futureshop and tell them the thing flashes on and off every now and then. Tell them you think you got a bad PSP and you want another. They will most likely swap it out. You might get lucky and end up w/ a 2.60 which you can downdate.
If not, save up 100 bucks and go buy a used one which will most likely be a much lower FW.

Just tell them it doesn't happen all the time. It happens in the middle of a game, maybe every hour and you lose your game progress everytime.

you won't get busted b/c at the time you'll be showing them, you won't be playing a game, right. And if they ask you to play a game, DON'T BRING ANY GAMES WITH YOU. If they wanna see, they will have to open a new game and the WILL NOT want to do that, right?

EDIT: OR - you can give them that same sob story, but demand your money back. Then you go to buy a used PSP, check which version it is first and then buy it and you won't have to downgrade if it's a v1.50 which it very well could be!

well i really hate buying online i dont trut ebay.. anyways im gonna try to do this.. u sure they will EXCHANGE with NEW one damn

If they say they will have to ship it off, tell them you'll think about it and you'll come back. Then, you might as well go and buy the Undiluted Platinum mod chip (look it up on Google) so you can still run ISOs on your 2.70 PSP. The thing is pretty cool.
I never said anything about eBay. Don't go thru them. Buy it at a used game store.
Anyway, gotta go to bed now. My eyes are starting to shut on their own.

Dude if u have a one year warrenty then just throw ur PSP in a toilet then return it and said it broke.... then u will get a new one right????
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

No sony dont work that way. But best buy does. Get the extended warranty and you could pee on it and they would exchange it for a new one.....im not kidding either.

if it is the simple and theres no risk why not well im gonna tell them that its always lagging sometimes while im playing the game just stopps and the psp shutdown i think this is acceptable
*EDIT* : its been 4-5 months i had bought the psp so.. exchange it with new for futureshop doesnt sound like a good idea ?? what do you think

if you have the money buy a new one then return it sayin you got one as a present but swap the psp's around if its a lower firmware....i used to do that with my ps2 games if they were scratched lol

Yea, my buddy used to rent games and replace them w/ his own if his were scratched and the rented one was in better condish...

lol yea what about buying a new one hopefully its gonna be 2.6 or 2.5 anyways i will just open the 'new' psp and get the console but not the charger and manuels...and then when im gonna give it back i will just put the old psp and thats it
