Ok I have Cucusoft Converter Pro 7.07 which converts AVI to DVD-video files and even authors them. I just want to add file and burn them with having to use Nero Rom 6 transcoding since files are already authored?
So do I go to the file I want and when I open highlight the DVD_disk part of the folder and add it or do I have to open the DVD_disk folder to go to the Video_TS folder and highlight all the BUP., IFO. and VOB files and then add to Nero?
How can I use DVD decryptor to burn DVD disk? Do I have to create a ISO file out of the authored DVD-Video files already on my harddrive?
If your file is the correct size to burn onto a 4.3g disk then just open Nero Burning Rom and locate the VTS file and drag it over and burn. If you are in Nero Express then you need to add all the files.
As for DVD Decrypter and its updated burning program ImgBurn you need iso files for those programs, they do not burn VOB. You can run your file through DVD Shrink to create an iso and then burn with Decrypter/ImgBurn or Nero.

I am going to use Nero Express so that is why I ask if I could just highlight the DVD_disk folder of do I have to go to the the subfolder of DVD_Disk folder that contains the Video_TS folder and add all of the BUP., IFO and VOB files? Or do I just highlight Video_TS folder and add that with out having to open it.
Ok burned three copies of my movies last night and it worked pretty well. So I got it down packed. I have Legacy 8x DVD-R which I burned at 4x and I have 16x Ri-Tek RiData DVD+R that I burned at 8x. On both disks the process was completed sucessfully but the problem is when I bput into my Panasonic Progressive Scan DVD player all three movies seem to stutter.
They play but the stuttering is terrible. The 16x DVD+R disk won't burn lower than 4x and I don't know what to do. I really don't want to waste disk after disk after disk just to see what speed will create the best results. I am even wondering if it could be my converter and authoring software which is Cucusoft Converter Pro 7.07.
The funny thing is that all the authored converted AVI files to DVD-video plays back great on my computer. No stuttering, very little noticeable loss in picture resolution.
Pausing/pixellation/stuttering and pixelation is usually media related. Caused by burning to fast, cheap or bad media, or your burner's firmware needs updated. Since you are burning at a slow rate of speed that is not the problem, Ritek media is okay but your burner may not be liking the 16x, when was the last time you updated the firmware on the burner. You state you have a Legacy, however this is probably has a rebadged drive in it, also if you have a Dell computer you can check with them. Otherwise open DVD Decrypter go to the Tools Tab, Drive and Capabilities and it will tell you the make/model and current firmware on the burner. You can also use the Check for Firmware Updates Tab in the same place. Tools, Drive and then Check for Firmware Updates. Also you may want to try some other media to see if that stops your problem get some Verbatim, Sony or Fuji and see if they work.
No I am saying I have legacy DVD-R disk but I have NEC 3550a drive. I realize that I was converting videos to 23.97 frames instead of 29.97 so I think that may be the reason why I see a bit stuttering in the videos. Not experiencing pixalation or pauses just slight stuttering like you can see the frames moving instead of it just smoothly going from scene to scene
