Can somebody tell me in simply way of below items, I tried to figure out myself from forum, but cant understand it fully
emulator?
homebrew?
eboot?
fastloader?
router / wireless router?
ISO?
DevHook / DevHook loader?
I want to buy a PSP, any suggestion for me? Thanks

*well an emulator allows you to play games from other consoles on your psp.
*homebrew is the term when you play copies of games on your psp
*eboot, is a psp alternative to an exe, on the pc
*fastloader, was the first iso loader
*wireless router, gives a wireless internet connection so you can go online with your psp
*ISO, is a copy of a game
*devhook is another loader simmilar to fastloader.
*look for a 1.5 psp, or anything under 2.7 firmware :)

IF you even find a v1.50. Pretty much every one that was ever made currently has an owner. The only ones left are like 1.52 and stuff. Unfortunately, there are no more virgins.

i went to game shop they said they had PSP 1.5 US version on hand, moreover brand new virgin...i really dont know is this a lie or truth..
one q here, if i bought it, can i play the games which request the film ware is over 1.5 one..quite worry about it.

If you have a 1.5 firmware PSP you can play 90% of the games via Devhook v.43
With Devhook you use this Homebrew program to "emulate" versions 2.0 , 2.5 , and recently the firmware 2.6
But as you know, knew hacks = new patches sony puts out to stop them, so if your looking to load the newest games with DevHook, they might not work (like Ghouls n Ghosts will prob have problems when it comes out in september)

you're both lucky. I would rather have a heavily abused virgin 1.50 than a heavily abused v1.50 whore motherboard. LOL
I am so lucky I've never bricked my PSP. I would trick change my PSP and change the gameboot and delete it all when I was a n00b and didn't really know what I was doing, all the while, my PSP was unplugged. I didn't know it had to be plugged in! Fortunately, I am really particular and I ALWAYS have my battery WAY above a 50% charge, so I guess that's what saved me all those times...

Yea, mines also it decent condition, with the scratches here and there on the screen (and the chip from an accidental drop I think) so im just going to buy myself a liquid platinum face plate and pimp out my psp :P

*shrug*
First time hearing my PSP is considered a "Virgin" I assure you, its been to hell and back...doing the work of SNES, NES, Genesis, NEO, 64, PC, ect...I believe the virginity of it all has been tainted :)

my mobo is fine its IC6001 so no probs on the 'Easy 2.50/2.60 Downgrader' download page it says
'Your PSP CANNOT be a factory 2.50/2.60 PSP! It had to have been updated once before from a previous version or the downgrader will not work, thus a brick'
if i update my factory v2.5 to v2.6 then run 'Easy 2.50/2.60 Downgrader' will this result in bricking my psp or a successful downgrade?
If any people out there that have successflly downgraded a factory 2.5 psp please reply!!
