Plz help. I've tried umd emulator and dev hook. maybe i don't have right settings. dragonball z shin budokai or fifa street wont work. but metal gear acid will. whats wrong, is it the settings i have??? if it is than plz give me settings for the programs.
also i have some isos but there to big, how do i break the size on a pc. plz help

What version of devhook are you using. What settings are you using in devhook? Sorry guano posted at the same time as you!

device hook is version .22, it wont work. my settings in that are
222/111 speed and boot select is umd game.
on umd eemulator i do system load, it goes to the system and has the dbz or fifa street pic but when i try to load, it does not work.
the shrinking tool only works on the psp, right. it wont work on the computer, i need one that i can use on the computer.

NO. That shrinking tool is a .exe file. You can use it on the computer.
Don't use DevHook v0.22. USE DEVHOOK v0.43. Use the links I gave you.

both fifa street and dbz requires fw 2.6,devhook 0.43.

it says it can't load/start devhook. Now what is wrong???????
nvm, forgot folder.
Plz help me with one last thing, what settings do i put for dbz and fifa street???

alright, you install the new devhook .43whatever, put the dh folder in the root of your ms, and the psp game stuff in the psp game folder. Now your setting for dev hook for fifa are going to be umd select-fifastreet.iso, umd mount-iso anyumd, umd version-2.xx-2.00, firmware-2.6, cpu-leave it, either 222 or 333, boot select-run xmb, other- just do the remote controler, now go to start and you will reboot in 2.6 and your iso will load. Make sure you have a umd in.

are you sure they are in the right iso or cso format, if not get umd gen , and drag the files in there, if its a good one its gunna have a psp_game, and a umd data thing, if its bad it will just keep the file name, but if it keeps the file name be sure that its extracted. I have also heard that some fifa game doesnt work on anythign, just a rumor though.

alright, thats pretty cool, yeah fifa works i tried it earlier i had a cso of it. I havent ran into anything that hasn't worked yet.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean that DevHook can run any game. There are still some games which dont work I think.

is that true, and it may be a noobish question, but now since we can emulate up to 2.71, say that a game needs 2.6 fw or whatever, do we still have to swap prx's with other ones etc. ;) thanks all.

No you dont have to do any PRX swapping to run games in the new DevHook.

Yeah,
But I'm not sure about any of the new games coming out. We might have to replace PRXs for any new games that come out. And now that 2.71 can be emulated, Sony are probably going to bring out a new firmware.
