i am reallllllllllly f...en pist! i have had my psp for about 2ms i am trying to figer out how to put iso files onto my danm psp!!!!!! i have spent over 30$ on products to transfer iso files to the psp (sony's media manager) i can not transfer iso files with the media manager because it says it is not compatible but anyway that is not the probleme. i have done tried everything. i downloaded fastloader but whene i tried to to transfer the file bye puting it into the game saves folder. it says corrupted data what the hell do i need to do? And yes my psp is v.2.50 i have heard that you can not put iso files with v.2.50 is that true?and i have also heard that if i try to downgrade it my psp could breaK is that true 2? ps. thanks for your in advance

You CANNOT play ISOs on a 2.50 PSP w/o either downgrading or using Undiluted Platinum Mod Chip.
You need to downgrade your PSP. Make sure it DOES not have the TA-082 motherboard first, tho.
Here is the downgrade link. You can't just click it. qj links are not friendly in afterdawn. You must copy and paste this link.
Look around on Google to see how you can tell if you have a TA-082 Mobo.
NOTE: You don't have to use that STUPID media manager. I thought that at first as well, but that's just a way to make money off you. You can just open up your PSP on your PC and drag and drop files in the window which represents your PSP. It's MUCH faster that way...
Also, the ISO file has to be in the ms0. Make a folder called "ISO" (ALL CAPS) in the very first screen which pops up when you open up your PSP on your PC.

yea just like waht guano have said, u cant play game on version 2.5. first thing first, you have to downgrade your version into 1.5. luckily there's someone who came out with a downgrade for version 2.5. anyway, it is not compatible with all the psp motherboard. to check if your motherboard is qualify, eject your UMD slot and on the right top side of the UMD slot, look in it and see if there is a label, more like an sticker, if it does have it, your motherboard is not qualify.

thank you very much i do not have TA MOTHERBORD BUT BECAUSE I HAVE V. 2.50 SO I GUESS THE ONLY THING I CAN DO IS GET A 99$ MODCHIP HUH!?!?!?!?! I AM NOT GOING TO DOWNGRADE MY PSP BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO TAKE THE RISK OF OF HAVENIG MY PSP BECOME A BRICK. THANYS YOU SAVED MY PSP BECAUSE I WAS ABOUT TO COMMIT A VERY BIG MISTAKE THANK YOU.

Its not very likely that your PSP will brick if you use the downgrader.
I mean, heaps of ppl one these forums have tried it and have downgraded sucessfully.

i do not know maybe i am going to be one of those unlucky peps you know i wil just get a mod chip in wich i really but really do not want to get because it really costs alot of money and i will not have any warranty 4 my psp. but jesus christ the games for the psp cost to damn much and i even have a 360 so i am buying games 4 that 2 you know if thier is any thing i csn do for my psp please tell me soon (no pressure) ok? thanks

Mind you the chips $99, but its so hard to install, ive heard people ruined theres trying to install it, and having someone else install is another $99.
As long as it isnt ta-082, go for it.

thanks i will just downgrade my friends psp and see what happens if it works i will downgrade mine. its just that the games 4 the psp cost 2 d... much you know!!!!!! 30-40$ bucks for a game that will entertain you 4 only a week. whene i could spend 10 20$ more and get a xbox 360 game that will entertain me for about 1-2 years you know!?!?!?!!?!?!? it is nice to know that if i have any problems with my psp i can relllllllllly on u guys thanks!

ok i am havenig a problem with my psp. I AM TRYING TO DOWNGRADE MY PSP RIGHT NOW AND AT THE BEGINING OF THE PROCESS IT ASKED ME TO PUT IN A UMD GTA FOR THE PSP BUT I DO NOT HAVE THAT GAME SO I PUT IN MX VS. ATV AND AFTER THAT IT ASKED ME TO PLUG IN MY AC ADAPTER. AND AFTER THAT! IT ASKED TO GO ON THE DOWNDATE TEST OPTION ON GTA BUT I DO NOT HAVE THAT GAME AND I ALREADY PLUGED IN MY AC ADAPTER SO I IF I UNPLUG I WILL BREAK MY PSP RIGHT? WHAT DO PLEASE HELP ME ANSWER FAST PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!

If your PSP is 2.01 -> 2.60 you need GTA:LCS to run the downgrader, there is an option to cancel the downgrader or quit it, it should be in front of you on screen.

hey i downloaded gta lcs 2 times i tried puttttttttiiiiiinnnggg on my psp but it whene i started the devhook programe it woulde freeze up. do i need to do something or is it my psp?

You need an ORIGINAL copy of GTA to be able to downgrade not a downloaded version. Forget about Devhook for now....Devhook will only work on 1.5 PSPs.
For now all you need is :-
GTA UMD (An unpatched version...basically, not a brand new one).
EasyDowngrader.
Once you have those 2 things you can downgrade to 1.5 and then you can start thinking about Devhook.
