Hi,
I got the magic keys & my PS2 version is 14.The keys include key at the reset button, the key for the breaker & the key which goes in the middle of the spring & the other parts.I will post the pictures of the keys as soon as available.
So if anyone has swapmagic & PS2 slim v. 14,can they please tell me how to install it? My DVD does not rotate as soon as i insert the 3rd key.So i think iam going wrong over there.Further, iam unable to close the lid of the PS2 perfectly,if iam using the 1st key (at the reset button).I seriously need help in this.

Moreover,i figured out that i did not burn my PS2 using the "Copy Wizard" in Alcohol.Instead i used "Image Making Wizard" & "Image Burning Wizard".Will that make any difference?

When I take out the Swapmagic DVD to replace it with my backup DVD,a text saying "Insert larger TOC disc" keeps scrolling from right to left. Can somebody help me out with all this?
Thanks guys.

That part is extremely tricky. Try googling Magic Keys II Install video and you'll see how it goes. There's a link to that video on another thread that covers this exact problems.

Hi,
Well, you see,it seems that the PS2 laser reads DVD-ROM type discs. So our friends advice us to booktype them to DVD-ROM so that the laser identifies it as a genuine PS2 DVD or CD.
Well, since our friends are experienced,I think what they are saying about it must be right, even though i haven't achieved success so far.Iam still working on that problem & hope some of our friends will help me out.I hope this is clear to you.Take care.Bye.

There's a link to an install guide on the magic keys.

You can only booktype DVD+R's. And your burner has to support booktyping to begin with. A v14 will have no problems with either + or - so you're good there even if you can't booktype. But if your burner can I'd suggest getting some Sony DVD+R discs. If not, Sony DVD-R.
Remember to read the stickies on the forum because they contain answers to practically every question reguarding backing up ps2 games.
