i have lemmings for like 2 months or so
i played it it worked just fine
i havent played it in a while
now i want to play it again but it doenst work
there are 3 files LEMMINGS,PSP,X
please help it did worked but not anymore
From Russia With Love, Naruto And Street Fighter Doesnt work anymore to and they got the same files (3 one with the name, PSP, X)

The files in the X folder are different for each game so you have to swap them out depending on what game you are playing.

also you can rename the folder like X
LemmingsX and JamesBondX and when you want to play lemmings just rename the lemmingsX folder to X

that doesnt really work
i just erase the X file on my mem stick and put the other one in it
i just dont get it i used to play it without any problem
do i have to have run umd? the older version?

the other games probally used the same X folder as some do and when your loading UMDs

Let's cover Lemmings first. (Boy, that game pisses me off!)
Anyway, do you have the UMD? Rather, do you have ANY UMD which has a 2.60 upgrade requirement? (Let's hope you do.) If not, I can send you and X folder w/ 2.60 PSAR data in it, but if you do, put the 2.60 UMD in the drive. Use RunUMD (G3N3SIS version) found here:
http://pgrevolution.com/2006/04/07/genesis-umd-launcher-26/
That'll get teh data from LEMMINGS. Then you can use that X folder w/ your set up. ANY 2.60 UMD will most likely work, but I'd prefer to use Lemmings.
Try that. :)

Then Splinter Cell should be a 2.60 game!!! Or you could just d/l that version of RunUMD again... whatever works!
WAIT!!!! BRILLIANT!!! I've got it!
Do this:
Just simply rename the folders. Example:
if Lemmings is called LEMMINGS, rename it to Lemmings.
If the X folder is called X rename it to x.
I had to do this w/ my NesterJ game folders. I guess they get "stale" after awhile. Trust me, this sounds stupid, but it should work. I hope you've not deleted anything!!!

just do what you were doing before or overite the X folder with the game's one you want to play.

sorry. I've been getting pissed at DevHook b/c I had it working and I was trying to do this extra stuff to it and now it doesn't wanna work. I tried changing the font. I can't say that was the reason for the mess up, but it might have something to do w/ it since this is most likely a BETA.
Anyway, TheV:
You said you DID NOT try renaming Lemmings? If not, you should try that.

all right. rename your X folder to x again. Maybe it's been too long since the folders were modified and again, they got "stale". If x if the name it should be, simply naming it to X and then x again should update the folder. Hell, if you need just go d/l that file again.
OR
This is stupid: But create a NEW folder. Name it x and then copy and past the contents of the OLD x folder to the NEW x folder.
I would be more help, and I will be in here most likely the rest of the night, but I am REALLY getting pissed of at my PSP b/c I got DevHook working, but now it's effing up on me EVERYTIME I go to load it. This is ridiculous! I reinstalled everything but the original folders. Once I get this working, I'll be able to help more, but for now, it's gonna have to be piecemeal.

am in the same place only you are pissed becaus of devHook me becaus of that stupid game(s)

ha - haaa I GOT IT!!! Since I have ADHD, I don't like to read anything. I'm a hands on learner. Well, I need to learn if I take my time and read something instead of jumping right into it, I could actually help myself. YOU CAN'T LAUNCH ISOS FROM THE DEVHOOK MENU IN 333MHz. It's all right there in print @ ps2nfo. LOL I got it. whew!
You have to launch at 222 and then you can go back to XMB and use Home + Select to change the bus speed. Pain in teh butt b/c I like to run all my games @ 333, but w/e.
k, I got 3 diff memory sticks, so I had to do this set up on all of them. That's why this took so long.
Now.... I'm back but I'm not. Catch is: I NEED A CIGARETTE RIGHT NOW!!!
I'll be back in like 10mins and we'll crush this, aight?
