Hi, I recently bought singstar 80s (PAL) to play on my NTSC ps2. I used swap magic 3.6 to boot it. The problem is when I use PAL video mode, the screen keeps rolling, but when I use NTSC video mode, the songs are out of sync with the video and the game, so the lyrics on screen doesn't match the song anymore.
I tried a PAL2NTSC patch but it's the same result.
You should be using NTSC mode not PAL, but if there's synchronisation problem then you'll need to either get a TV that supports PAL or get a video converter
dan168, Do you know where I could find a video converter? And will it stops the rolling and the out of sync, or only fix the colors? thanks
PS2Menace, I got the USB converter along with the 2 microphones(you can order singstar games with or without mics, the converter comes with the mics), I bought it at game.co.uk they ships PAL games worldwide. It's the only place I found that ships outside of Europe.
