How DevHook v0.44 works: MUST READ IF YOU WANT IT TO WORK/ TIPS

If you got your DevHook v0.44 from the link just below, read on. If not, read on anyway! (Useful stuff) :)

In case some of you missed this, it was on http://www.ps2nfo.com:
You need to launch ALL ISOs @ 222MHz b/c if you launch @ 333MHz, your PSP will freeze. I remember reading A LOT of posts on how ppl couldn't get it to work; you know who you are... (This is for v0.44 ONLY)
Also, once in the XMB, you can change the cpu/bus speed by hitting Home + Select
I am only telling you guys this b/c I didn't know what the problem was and spent like 15mins trying to get it to launch games and it kept freezing and I was getting BEYOND pissed, swearing up a storm!!!
Also, if you want to have your buttons swapped, here's what you do:
Find your OLD "dh" folder. (From 2.60 emulation) For version 0.44 to have X as the SELECT game button do this:
In the 260 folder, navigate to ms0\dh\260\Flash1\registry
copy the system.dreg and system.ireg and paste them into the same folder, but in the 270 Flash1 instead.
It's already got O button as the select button, so if this is the way you want it, leave it. (obviously)
I thought a lot of you would like this!!!

EDIT: Problem solved!
Okay so got it working! thanks guano!! But everytime i want to play in 333mhz mode i have to go to home and press select, thats a bit of a pain :( with the ChaosZero package for the 0.43 it was set to 333 yet still worked, even though the original 0.43 version wouldn't??

@ twinblade: You got it right! BUT - the ONLY time you have to launch at 333 is when you're launching DevHook from 1.50 emulation where, if you think about it, you can just STAY in 2.60 OR 2.71 emulation all the time like I do. Then, it won't be a problem and you can just change it to 333MHz and keep it that way.
@ alienator: No prob, dude. But again, the REAL props go out to Jas0nuk b/c he knew the mappings! I just passed along some information...

Yeah, I also want to see some custom firmware released.
Maybe we can have a firmware with DevHook incorporated in it, so we can launch ISOs/UMDs straight from the XMB.

erm... correction on the game I got...
You know what the best feeling is?
Walking into the video game store and NOT having to only look for games that fall within 1.50-2.50. I almost bought Cars and saw Lara Croft staring me down... oooooohh.... I didn't even know Tomb Raider is out, so I got THAT instead! Hell yea! I already know what my new wallpaper is going to be. It's teh splash screen from the UMD icon. yummy! It'll either be in teh savedata folder or I'll have to rip the game for that. :| that will suck all for a new wallpaper, but hey. She's worth it! LOL So how's everyone doing?

Yeah, Tombraider is way better than Cars!
But I haven't actually tried any of the Tombraider games. I might pick that game up from the store sometime (not b4 downloading it to try of course)

On 0.43 the text of the savegame for loco roco was all screwed up, like some other people had said, so I applied the patch, which fixed the save text, but it stopped the browser from working. But then 0.44 came out and it seems to all work fine.
But 0.44 doesn't have the shortcut L,R,Up to go from the home screen of 2.71 to the 1.5 XMB? Couldn't get it to work on mine, but I have installed that patched USB and button switch mod thats on ps2nfo.com, so maybe thats why. Home and R still switch ISOs, though.
Its all good cos I feel like in the next few eeeks there will be a million cool mods for devhook.
So good to be playing outrun right now, and as someone else said, we can actually BUY GAMES AND HAVE THEM WORK WITHOUT HAVING TO RIP THEM!! HOORAY!

It's a Reboot. Put this file in ms0\dh\kd
and you will be able to reboot now.
This file is from 260, so if you still have 260, leave it be. Otherwise, just put it in 270.
