People,

Has anyone been able to create a playable version of this ISO?

I'll tell you what I have tried without much success:

Setup
* PSP Firmware 1.5
* WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2006 UMD (EU PAL version)
* Devhook v0.43.0101
* UMDDump
* UMDGen v3.02
* Ripkit http://rapidshare.de/files/22837155/WWE_Smackdown_Vs_Raw_2006_EUR...

Steps Taken:
* Dumped ISO using UMPDump (ISO Size approx. 1.58GB)
* Extracted ISO contents using WinRAR
* Applied RipKit to extracted content (basically overwritting files with files provided by the RipKit). Size decreases to 708MB
* Re-built ISO using UMDGen (Size 700+ MB - Ripkit claims to make it 500MB ?)
* Transferred ISO to MS:\ISO\ folder on PSP Memory Stick
* Launched DevHook - Selected ISO
* Devhook reboots, game starts loading (WWE logo in bottom right corner, followed by some THQ information)
* PSP shuts down

Has anyone managed to get this game working?

Cheers

If you own the original then why not just d/l it, saves you all the time of making your own backup copy and you'll probably get a ripped version. And yes the game does work.

Downloading games from Torrents is a nightmare... a lot of the time you're uploading more than you're downloading at about 10kb/s

Finding a reliable download would be useful.

Also trying to get FIFA 06 working.. I can play but it hangs usually when the ball goes out for a goal kick.

Everyone who has an issue creating an ISO is told to download it... but surely creating them yourself is an option given all the tools and ripkits available?

Yes obviously it's an option, but most people (like myself) are pretty lazy and don't wanna have to do the fixing/ripping if someone can do it all for them. I had problems with FIFA 06 also, I could play a game but after the match when I pressed continue it would crash, ended up d/l a different version.

We're all lazy... believe it!

I'm just not one of these people who can leave their PC on for 3 days solid to download something!

If the power is in your hands to make things happen then you have to give it a try :)

I usually start one off before I go to work or before I go to bed, then when I get home/wake up, it's ready!!!
