ok i installed devhook it works but i cant get any isos to work on it well ive only tried pro evo5 what settings do u have to use on devhook to be able to play pro evo 5 plz can some1 help thanks

(im sorry im such a pain) but ive searched for the settings for pro evo 5 but on the forums it says like people havent tried pro evo 5 every forum i check it always says tht. does pro evo 5 even work on devhook 0.44? and im not sure if its my actual iso image that mb its not loading up cud u help me i kno im a BIG noob lol

use the usual settings but with the cpu clock speed at 222mhz or you may find difficulty with it freezing on start up. Yo guano do you get that when you boot it with 333mhz

Sorry I know you asked guano, but yeah sometimes games will freeze on 333 mhz with devhook .44.

What version of devhook do u got? And did u ever get this game to load an any previous versions of devhook?

umm ive never used dev hook to load any games before and ive got devhook 0.44 the newest one i think lol and yes wen i try and run pro evo 5 at any clock speed it freezes dunno y thou

How were u trying to load pro evo then? Is pro evo an ISO or is the actual UMD.

yeh im using a iso image of pro evo 5 and it doesnt work :( i use devhook 0.44 so anyreasons y it doesnt work??? it just freezes wen i press it, but it does show the iso in the load screen but it crashes wen u press it

ok here are the settings for devhook 0.44 that i use:
Target: (reboot XMB)
UMD ISO: proevo5.iso
UMD MODE: ISO ANYUMD
Flash: alot of words then (NANDFLASH)
UMD VERSION:2.xx>2.00
CLOCK:222/111
REMOTE:remote contoller
PL ADDR 89000000
oh and i dont kno y 0.44 is better then 0.43 because i dont even kno how to use it properly lol

lol yeah i feel you guano and some outhers had to help me with 43 wich seems perfect right now i just dont know if my gta lbc can use wifi people says it should but couldnt conect it to my 2.7 psp

Hey guys, just wondering.
You know how when you boot a game with Devhook v.44 it shows the "Your Dead" video from Gods of War. Is there a way I can change that video or is that all encoded on the .eboot?
This would be my name but its 10 letters long and AD only allows 9 :P |

Yea, I always got a frozen PSP on 333MHz. I spent like 15mins trying to figure out WTF the problem was until I read on ps2nfo that you need to launch at 222 thru the GUI in DevHook, then go back to the XMB, then hit Home + SeleKt to change the cpu/bus to 333. Stay in 2.60 OR 2.71 emulation (whichever you prefer) and you'll never have to change it again!

That is called the gameboot. You can change it by changing the gameboot.pmf in: dh\271\flash0\vsh\resource

This one can emulate firmware 2.71, the old DevHook could only emulate firmware 2.6. You can download a full package from here:

I mean, I don't mind helping ppl, but when there's something I wanna do, I need to take the time... but I still felt really bad b/c we both knew I could help him. So here he was pissed off b/c he couldn't get something to work, he needed my help, but in turn I couldn't get DevHook to work and I was trying to hurry but I was getting more pissed b/c I when you try to rush something, you screw it up even more... Plus, I still had to do this set up on my OTHER 2 memory sticks. I was about to flip out. I reinstalled it like 4 times... ugh... fuhgettaboutit!
