Yo lilfree dont worry , use devhook to your full advantage upgrading to the 0.44 version isnt gonna brick your psp ...although you may have a hard time starting it but with the gides posted about here youl have it up and runnin in no time. When me and guano upped our version there was no guides just yet , it was just hot on pspupdates when i got a hold of it...so anyway no worries download it il help you out and walk you through it if need be.

Yeah it does.
But I think you need to play against another ISO. I dont think that you can play ISO vs UMD
|

I'm not sure.
I heard that some ppl were having problems playing over WIFI with a UMD (when they were using an ISO).
But it could've been, that they were of different regions

dang man thats some bs so i guess im going to have to downgrade my 2.5 huh? and yeah im finna give the 0.44 a try since i have a 1.5 i should be able to help downgrade it

No use the Easy Downgrader instead.
Also make sure that your PSP isn't a factory 2.5 and it doesn't have a TA-082 motherboard before downgrading.

No, the easy downgrader copies all the downdater files onto the PSP so you dont need a firmware 1.5 PSP anymore.

o thats whats up so all i do is copy these files to my memory stick and run the program? and yeah mine can downgrade i check the lil orange numbers

It will guide you and copy things to your memory stick along the process

Thanks eternalis, question about that is there a way I am able to create my own gameboot.pmf files like they did for devhook? Or were these files there, they just took them from the games code?

I think that the DevHook ones were taken from games (You can take them from games using UMDGen).
But I'll search around and see if there is a way to encode PMF format files :)
