Ok, first off, here's a pic of the NTSC .iso file.
Here's a pic of the file order from ISO Buster
As far as I remember, you don't need to rebuild this game to use it with SwapMagic.
Once you have the .iso file, all you need to do is burn it with DVD Decrypter with the ISO/MODE/WRITE option. Use quality DVD-R's (such as Sony) and burn at half the media's rated speed (i.e. 8x at 4x)
You shouldn't have any problems with this game that this can't help you out with.

He's actually got 2 files & 3 folders, but I know what you mean.
I'd say that was a big problem. What files/folders have you got?

You should just be able to take DVD Decypter and back it up to a new disc. Is that what your using to create your ISO with?

what i mean by that is, you could be driving 158 mph, get to a straight then loading comes across the screen, if you guys could help me out i would really appreciate it, But have you guys got an easy tutorial, because i have got the original game, but i gotta crack this problem? Much appreciated, Thanks

Loading issues can be a result of bad media or wrong burn speeds.
What media (ie - Sony 8X DVD-R) are you using and at what speed are you burning it at?

http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html DVD Decrypter Tutorial that is very easy.
I have used DVD Decrypter for more games than i care to count,
so i know it is a great program for backing them up.
Here are a few more tips just in case.
1. Make sure nothing else on the PC is runing and you do not use the PC while burning.
2. Make sure your burner has the most up to date firmware that is available as this will help with media compatibility
3. Burn the MDS file with DVD Decrypter rather than the ISO
4. Burning at 4X is fine as long as the disc is an 8X max speed disc.
If it is a 16X disc then i can say that those have given many people problems, you may have to burn those at 6X or even 8X to get them to work. I would stick with 8X DVD-R though.
5. you should not need to use ISO Buster or any other program, just DVD Decrypter ISO-Read and ISO-Write
sorry if you tried all this, but in order to get to the root of the problem, people will have to try anything they can think of. A game not working has so many things that it could be you have to narrow them down one by one.

You could try rebuilding it to see if that solves the problem.. there are links in my sig to rebuilding guides/tutorials.
Also, do you usually use DVD+R discs? and do they work ok usually? you could also try booktyping the discs if you don't already do that. Also have a look in my "checklist" tutorial(in my sig)to see if there's anything else you could do to your system/settings too.
good luck with it

http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm The Verbatims are listed as first class media.
There have been known to be a bad batch, but not very often with Verbatim. I have read reports that some people had trouble burning these with one type of burner and thought that they had bad discs, but then burned them in several other burners and they worked.
But the Verbatim DVD-R should work.
Sony i have not personally tried. I have seen people who love them, and others who say that you can only buy them if they say "Made In Japan" on them. So those i can only tell you that they are listed as first class, but also say that they do some outsourcing, which could lead to an occasional bad batch.
Have you got any friends with modded systems that you can try these discs you burning out on, if they work on their system then i would rule out the discs as the problem, and possible even your burner.
backing up games should really be as simple as the tutorial i linked you to. I have used that method for many years, with several different media's and 2 different burners and 2 different PS2 models
and have yet to have any real problems.

Yeah, as steimy said.. those discs should be ok.
It might be that your ps2 doesn't like DVD+R much I guess but unlikely the cause as they boot ok. If it is a 16x disc try burning it at 8x - and even if it's an 8x disc try burning it at 6x or 8x... that might solve the glitchy playback... if not then try rebuilding it. If it still doesn't solve it after all that then I would look into maybe cleaning/adjusting your laser and maybe getting DVD-R from taiyo yuden, verbatim or ritek g04/g05...

hi bionic it`s tallen. thought i`d jump in on this one.
steimy, i am a good friend of bionic316 and we have tried the backups on my ps2 as well as his, with the same results. also the discs we use are DVD-R our ps2`s don`t like dvd+r`s. i tried booktyping a +r to -r without success. In the media sticky, it say`s that the verb`s should come from japan. ours are made in taiwan (think thats how to spell it)hmmm?
between the two of us we have backed up every game we have had a go at, weather its a straight `dvd decrypt method` `dvd gen method` `gnie` e.t.c we have got all other games to work, ok we`ve made a few coasters on route, but we`ve got them to work . `NFS` no.
do yu think it could be to do with the lack of file like ace1uk mentioned?

If it is a downloaded copy then that is a possibility.
If it is from an original you could always tray making a new ISO and try that.
The media guide lists both Verbatim from Japan and Taiwan as 1st class. Although i have also seen where people have said to only buy them made in Japan.
I have some at home, i will have to check and see where they are made. They are Verbatim Lightscribe 8X DVD+R and i have made several working games on them by booktyping them to DVD-Rom ( i hompe when you said booktyping to DVD-R it was just a mistype because that is wrong) and only certain burners can booktype anyway.
Since most posts i have seen said that people were able to make an easy 1:1 strait up copy that would tell me that it is not anything in the game itself. My NFS Most Wanted is for Xbox, But i backed up both NFS Underground 1&2 no problem, and have not found a game yet that i was not able to back up. Try another copy, or rent it and make sure you like it first before you get another copy ;)
The most you can do is either get another copy, or keep trying different media until you find one that works. I ALWAYS use 8X DVD-R no matter what brand i go with. I had big problems with the 16X
and 4X just run too slow on some games.

If burning faster hasn't solved the problem then it's time to try a rebuild maybe.
Then if that doesn't work it's time to start looking at your computer's system settings I think..
Go through my "checklist" tutorial that's in my sig.. there's a few things that might help if it's an I/O problem etc.
Just out of interest, what dvd burner make and model have you got?
What CPU and RAM have you got in your system? and what OS are you running?
