hello all, i was just wondering if Nero 7 can cause Nvidia drivers from not working well. i ask this because i read in another thread that the Nvidia driver could conflict with Nero and make Nero not run good and have problems, i was just wondering if the opposite thing could occur where Nero 7 messes up the video display.
the reason for this ques. is becuse on one of my PC's i have this wierd problem thats happens every once in awhile, where right after everything loads up from start up the video display messes up where u cant do anything not even Crt,Alt DEL comes up(although i know it comes up) but i am unable to see it because of the display is messed up.
so i am running XPpro, Video card is PCI express, Geforce something
anybody heard of this porb before? any suggestions would be appreciated greatly
PS. this prob doesn't happen all the time and also have ran antivirus prog. ran spyware prog. A reg. cleaner, WinDoctor, still happens, i think i might uninstall Nero and see if it still happens.
I haven't seen anything like that concerning Nero. Perhaps the Nvidia drivers they refer are the ones for the Nvidia motherboard chipsets, not the video drivers.
Check the Windows Admin Tools under Event viewer and see if any problems show up there. You might even uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your card.
It is always a good idea to know the keystrokes to restart the computer in case of a video problem where you can't see the screen: Windows key-U-R. At least you can get Windows to shut down normally and reboot. Also make sure your video card is seated all the way.
