correct me if I'm wrong, but both are integrated graphics, not a card as you said.

ATI express 200

Reading the articles that were EASY to find on google, I'd go with the board with ATI. A quick look at capabilities makes it seem like its faster and better for gaming, and watching video than the Nvidia.

I personally would go for Gforce just because most games are compatibale with that card.

Wait. $600 you say? Hold a second and I'll put you together an expert gaming rig(budget powerhouse) assuming you have a mouse, keyboard, monitor, and an OEM copy of XP on hand of course. Even the copy you get with a Dell will work.

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+

Case: Rosewill ATX Mid-Tower with 2 x 120mm fans already installed

Power Supply Unit: Thermaltake TR2 430Watt

That's all fairly cheap. I think it's about $512.00 with shipping included. But only with the $50 off with that motherboard and video card combo.

And Windows XP Home(if you need it) takes it just over to about $620 with shipping already included.

I hope I caught you in time to prevent yourself from getting a mediocre mechine at best.

You 1MB L2 Cache or 1MHz? lol. To simply answer your question. They don't really need it in the mid range.
