yes thats why i didnt do it. what i thought was good about xflash was that when i selected the gameboot, a window opened up and said the file is to big, etc. and it said your having the boot, and it closed down , a good safety measure i think :)

Yeah he was trying to replace it with a 0mb one so it doesnt come up at all. Use xflash it has an option to flash the gameboot with a blank one, it just shows up as a black screen.

I chose to replace the gameboot in x-flash on my psp, but it turned out the original gameboot with no sound...

hmmm thats odd, i never had that happen to me. I am going to download the newest version of xflash and do what u did, and see if i cant simulate whats going on.

@ tash, you got to delete the 0kb one, and put yours in its place, make sure its called 'gameboot' (without the ')

yea, I did, and I chose to delete the gameboot in x-flash and didn't work for me

well, when xflash starts up and it does all checks etc, it should tell you the size of your gameboot. what size is your gameboot?

actually, I didn't realize I have to press triangle. lol, I got it working now, I feel so stubid x( but thanks :)
