Someone mentioned this a couple days ago and I couldn't remember if I used the rip kit, but I had it in my archive. (I keep back ups of EVERYTHING, I guess)
Original Rip was like 1.03GB
After Rip kit: 775MB
I'm going to upload the stuff now. (Rip kit and Patch fix) I'll put the link up later.

nice but do you know how to rebuild the runumd folders into an iso
eg i ahve sfa3 but want to ake the folder; x,sfa3, eg....
into one iso
can you help guano, ialso have the syphon filter in this format and would like to have it as a iso so can be loaded with devhook

Tell you what, alienator:
DELETE THE EFFING RUNUMD FOLDERS!!! Not yelling at you, but I'm so tired of RunUMD. It kinda sucked in the first place anyway. (Not that I could do any better, no...) But w/ DevHook 0.44, it can load ANY GAME... LOL

you only have a 1GB MS, right?
damn! I think Sony is finally starting to catch on, making all the newest games compiled into giant ".dat" files. Rip kits are gonna be fased out. Sony has also found a way to make it so EVEN IF YOU DO get the game ripped somehow, it won't work properly. Look at Splinter Cell, for instance: I hacked that game for a week, had it down to MANY different sizes. (Lowest was 600MB and it loaded but wasn't good enough to keep going w/)
and now Tomb Raider won't work w/ a rip kit. Sony IS getting smart in some areas. I just ripped my Tomb Raider yesterday and the ISO worked, but I kept it at the original rip size, minus the UPDATE.
I'm over at MAXCONSOLE now, trying to figure out how to fine-tune this custom FW thing... I've got some questions still, but so far it's pretty fricken sweet. I would like it if it worked from sleep mode thos, and not only from a HARD RESET. 50% worthless so far. LOL

EDIT: NVM - Dax's Custom FW is the SHIIIIIIIIIIIIzz!!!!!! Totally sick. I changed the config so it goes directly to the DevHook menu and skips over the $CE screen. (from a hard reset; the SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMEN screen.) Skips over the gameboot screen too, saves time... but again - ONLY from a hard reset. Also gets rid of the STOCK SONY UMD AUTOLAUNCH FOREVER! It's gone... LOL

i also have this problem, UMDRIPS, the x folder and the other folder ( game folder ), i cant use RUNUMD as it wont work for some odd reason, and would be much easier to turn them folders into an ISO as i have many games like that, but i cannot play them, can any help me also?
Whats red and hard, and a bit fury? ..conker
