Ok I used this (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/605) to downgrade my psp, I didn't know what to do next because after the AC thing, I was expecting another screen to show up,that didn't happen, so I turend off my PSP, it was only after that, that I realized that the program was working. Now my PSP won't turn on( this is why they should have those instruction wrriten down, so people can look ahead!). Can anyone help me??
(Yes I am panicking, and can't think straight, please someone help fast before I lose my mind)

take out the battery and put it back in .. then try turing it on again ...

Yes, the green power light is on, but the screen is completely black, and stays black.

um, somewhere along the line, you should've seen a blue screen like you've never seen before. All kinds of little white text saying something went wrong. At that point, you should've hit O to RESTORE DEFAULT settings.
If you didn't see that and now your PSP won't turn on, I think you may have bricked your PSP. :(
I've never upgraded past 2.00 and I did that like a year ago. I've been at v1.50 forever...
I've never had to use that downgrader, but I just read... it appears you've bricked, my friend. sorry... :(
If it makes you feel any better, I got a white PSP (had to SPECIAL order from China and was VERY EXCITED) two days after I got it, I ruined it. You'll get it fixed don't worry, man...

I never saw that. The farthest I got was to a screen I never saw before, but it said, "downdate system," I pressed X, nothing happened, so I retardedly turned off my PSP. I never saw that screen you were talking about.
And what does "bricked your PSP" mean??

thought id seen somewhere that if its a brick, the green light comes on, then straight off again. or is it that it doesn't come on at all?

IF you can afford it, you can buy the UP. (Undiluted Platinum) This is a mod chip that will UNBRICK your PSP NO MATTER WHAT. It's pretty tight, but it's pretty useless unless you've bricked your PSP b/c of all the downgraders and now w/ Dax's custom FW. He'll be working hard on that and we'll have tons of stuff coming up. Dax effing rocks!

Where can I buy this, and how much is it?? I have a few rich relatives I can get money from, so cost isn't really a problem. *is finally calming down, and has hope*

I could probably get that cheaper. I have alot of old games I could trade in, and I have some full money back thing for the PSP I already have. So yeah I'll do that. Thanks dude.

I have a waranty for it... I should be able to get my money back. If not, ohh well, I'll still be able to get it cheaper than the UP, with all the games I can trade in.

if you have your warrantty then sony will fix it free of charge bu they will update it to the latest fw, 2.71 and then you can sell it for just a bit
