i have an iso file of lego star wars and i tried 5 times to put it on dvd. i use DVD Decrypter and this is my first time having trouble with it.it goes through the process (i have verify disc checked)and it seems to work fine. the only thing i believe is that it's burning it too fast. its only taking about 3 minutes for the whole process. i am burning at 8x.the ps2 is saying to insert disc. am i missing something?

Do you have a modchip or Swap Magic? You can't PS2 backups without some kind of mod.

how big is the ISO? 3 minutes is WAY too fast for a DVD at 8x...

Do you use swap magic or modchip?

Now I remember... that game is a CD based game so you need to burn it to a CD and not DVD

Try burning it with Nero or Alcohol 120%

Lego Star Wars is a CD Based game so the ISO is actually of a CD not a DVD and that's more than likely where your problem lays

lego star wars is a cd game. so you should have put it in a bin and cue format then copied to a cd. or maybe you could copy the iso to cd? and if you put it on cd you might have to switch your modchip to read cd games.

you can burn it to CD directly using ImgBurn or I believe DVD Decrypter actually lets you burn to CD too.

Shouldn't need to do anything about the modchip as most modchips load CD games directly...? depends on how old it is really

No newer quality chips (DMS, MI, CC) require you to switch modes to load CD's, they will boot automatically. Check the link in my sig for burning PS2 CD-ROM games, it covers Nero, Alcohol 120%, CloneCD, and CDRWIN.

Darn, I can tell you that it does work on CD though. Mine is on CD, if you get it again, let me know. We'll get it working.
