Which of these two Taiko Yuden versions is the best media for making PS2 backups?
I have a version 4/5 PS2 and i was just wondering if
YUDEN000T02 (8x) media is the best to use for backups or is it the new YUDEN000T03 (16x) media to use?

What speeds do you suggest i burn at for making backups for both media types?

Aren't those fake TY disc codes? Thought TY started TYG0... & YUDENT..?

Anyway, in my opinion, neither, but I certainly wouldnt go for 16x anyway. RITEK G05 are far superior, I always get a near 100% success rate with those compared to around only 60% success with TY's. And I've got a v4 PS2 as well (its actually my 2nd v4) and they're quite picky.

To the best of my knowledge i think they are genuine Taiyo Yudens ... but its better to be sure than sorry so will take that into consideration.

I agree RITEKG05 are good (I have two 50 pack spindles right next to me at the moment) but I don't think TYs are as bad as you say? I used to use TYs and they worked perfectly, the only reason I stopped is because the RITEKG05 is close to half the price and works without problems, but I don't think the TYs deserve that much criticism? No offense to your opinion or anything, just thought I'd point this out?
