Help backlight on my PSP is not working !!!!

Hi all i need help you know when you are in a middle of a game on ya psp then you need to press start because you need to awnser the door or something. Well when you leave your psp on and dont press anything after a min the screen will go dark but you can see screen still but when i click a button the light wont come back on can anyone help me plz thanks.

Is the PSP still on?? It could be due to your Display time settings...

And it also can knock its self off after a short time, just push up on the power button, and play will resume from where you left off.

Yes the psp is still on i can still play the game but its dark the light hasent come back on been like that for about 3 days now i have took the battery out and everthing.

How long have you had your PSP for?

I don't want my PSPs backlight dying if I import a PSP.

If you hold down the backlight brightness button on the psp it turns the brightness on and off. If you have turned it off and it still doesn't have any brightness maybe the brightness button is jammed in or something??

Can you see anything on the screen. I have heard that the power light turns on butyou cant see anything on TA-082 downgraded PSPs

Hit the button on the left of the musical note, sometimes that changes the brightness of the screen.
