hello people are using words lke iso and others which i dont understand, please somebody fill me in other kinds o words regarding psps, thank you.

iso - disk image of a umd for use w/ Devhook, DaxZiso, Fastloader.
cso - compressed disk image of a umd for use w/ Dev Hook Loader.
dax - compressed disk image of a umd for use w/ Dax Ziso loader.

basically just worry about iso and cso, and devhook.

mp4 - movie format accepted by the psp.
pspvideo9 - free movie converter for your pc to psp.

codec - something that is responsible for the decompression of compressed video files (divx/mp4 whatever)

prx - a type of codec used by the psp.
pbp - a type of file used to launch applications on the psp.

wep - type of wireless security. (fw. 1.5)
wap - type of wireless security. (fw. 2.0+)

i think that'll get you started atleast, anymore questions?

Well from what I've read, iso's are files that you can get from a psp umd so you can play it without the umd in the psp... I don't know what other terms you don't understand but this FAQ may help you a little:

I haven't read it all myself but some of my questions were answered there, so look up. Also try to use the Search feature to see if somebody hasn't answered your question yet, it is a forum rule... but anyways you can always ask again :P I don't have a problem with that.

I don't get it smurff XD is the iso an image? :S what i read is that it is used to play psp's games... :S

Iso is disc image file.like everything of a umd game on 1 file.
