hey, im just wandering if 2.7 loaded PSPs are at the stores allready. Or are they still all 2.6 atm? I was hoping they are all still 2.6 so i dont have to go hunting

you will need to watch out for the ta-082 mobo more than 2.7 factory psps i think...

yeah becuase TA-082 motherboards cant run firmware under 2.5 normally so the 2.7 downgrader that might be made someday may not work on them. Thier have been some successes on the 2.6 downgrader with them though.

i have not heard of a single one!
the ta-082 hardware blocks the .ipl from anything below 2.5fw so you can't downgrade :)

You havent heard of a single one because you dont look around enough. There have been quite a few people that have successfully downgraded their factory TA-082 psp's. Ive seen a few ppl here on aD that even are so proud they put it in their sigs.
