this might be the most noobish question ever but i have never really worried about this but i have seen all these eboot and junk for 2.6
i currently have 2.6 firmware... do i need to downgrade to play isos?
please help me!

Yes you do need to downgrade read the SUPER NOOB GUIDE tread.

also how big if a memory stick should i have?( i currently own 512mb)

i just went there it says "Now you will Need the DOWNDATER folder ? you can get this from numerous sources ? but please remember that it is illegal
