Newbie here. while playing a movie from my hard drive, using showtime, the audio track drops out. I might get a few seconds of good audio, then nothing, as the video continues... My OS is XP-pro. This doesn't happen with all movies. and its frustrating. Any ideas what I could check? Any info will be appreciated!

uhhhh Try Downloading AC3 Filter from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AC3_Filter.htm and see if that works.

And you might have to use DivX Player for AC3 Filter to kick in I dunno...
