my psp version is 2.50 and i tried putting iso on it it wont work i tried putting mame and atother still dont work when i check the files on the memory car it says currupted maybe my version or somthing am doing wrong i need easy guide to solve this problem mates
and another thing will i be able to downgrade i need your special advice from u pros thanks from hanna

u need version 1.5 to run emulators. Check all the stickies for tutorials for downgrading and GTA exploit if you dont wanna downgrade.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

No you dont need 1.5 to run emulators. Although it is best to use 1.5. You can run emulators on 2.0, 2.5, 2.6. All you need is an original copy of GTA:LCS and the eloader. Not all homebrews work with eloader. But if your gonna go as far as getting the copy of GTA you can use it downgrade your psp to 1.5 and take full advantage of homebrew.

Yeah I see your point. Cris said you need 1.5 to run emulators and I was merely saying you dont need 1.5 to run an emulator.

Um well originally you weren't supposed to be able to downgrade a factory 2.5. But there has been rumors flying of people being able to do it. If you psp does not have the TA-082 mobo (check here for identifying factors).

Then I would up uprade to 2.6 then downgrade it. Do you think my new sig is ugly BTW?

Yeah I make all kinds of things in photoshop. I enjoy using photoshop alot and I think I'm decent for teaching most of it to myself. Read a few tut's on the way, but for the most part just played until i got the hang of it. Thanx for the reply tho :)

hi hana gain many thanks 4 your reply seems you people are nice and helpful ok so you i have a 2.50 version and u told me to check it behing my psp i dont think i have ic6001 will that work the pic i seen u gave on the forum the ic6001 is on the left hand side i have no other numbers on the right can u tell me if this will work i might aswell downgrade and if i do i need your help thats my first psp and never messed around with it before i need professional advide and guide from u thanks waiting 4 your reply

before you e´ven think about downgrading, YOU MUST HAVE GTA LCS. It must be unpatched, meaning an old version. once you have that, you can downgrade.

@hexitnow i jus wanna know wat parts i an gonna hav 2 swap if i take an old psp(not frm bestbuy) then switch it with a new one frm bestbuy without them knowin and get ma money bak? do u hav to open up the psp and take sum parts or just the stickers ? thanx hex
