A friend called me and he said he is brining me a dvd he needs edited later on. What needs to be done is that the recording on the dvd has some advertisments between some parts, and he wants them edited out.

Is there any simple way to do this? What program do i have to use and how can i do it (simple step to step)

thanks guys

your the man... actually the friend gave me a note with the parts he want on the dvd to be played with no pause (just cut the ads out)

these are the 3 parts

0:43:47 - 1:00:00

1:05:40 - 1:16:24

1:23:22 - 1:24:49

will it be easy to just get those 3 parts and unite them on another dvd ?

Try DVDShrink and Re-Author. Simply drag over (right to left) the main title as many times as you need (looks like three or four times) and make start/stop marks on the various clips thus editing out the ads.

martins, thanks, i will try your method too... i use DVD Shrink when i need to edit the start/end of a dvd

is it possible to load it and cut 3 parts from the whole movie?

also why do i have to load the main title 3-4 times? isnt once enough?
