2.6 Downgrade Attempt Soon

I am about ready to attempt downgrading my factory 2.5 now 2.6 TA-082 mobo PSP becuase i have heard of numerous sucsesses even though the downgrader is not meant to run on the motherboard. Is thier anything i can do that may increase my succsess rate and is thier anything i can do if my PSP gets bricked.

is it under warranty? if so send it to sony and say you lost power during an upgrade ;) i know itll come back a 2.71 but its a psp

it was under warranty but I accidently took of the void sticker so ig uess it isnt anymore

i bought it 8 days ago a Ebgames so i will probally be able to return it thier if it is bricked.

i have not heard of any successes on ta-082, can you point me to them?
i thought the whole point of ta-082 was that it blocked the ipl from FW below 2.5, you can't downgrade - not even by luck!?????
1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

Yep that's correct, ibjaredu you won't have nothing but a brick if you try it.

If you are certain that you don't have that board then yes it should work fine as long as you follow a good guide and use a clean fw dump, i downdated a white 2.50 factory psp and it worked fine.

I found some people in the Ps2nfof forums saying it worked but I think i might wait a while and see if someone else releases a 2.6 downgrader.

The only thing is the void sticker is gone and how do i return it if it works perfectly. Any 1 got any ideas?

i wish someone would make a different 2.5/6 downgrader. Maybee now that kernel mode is unlocked a PSPset will be made like for 1.5 and 2.0. The PSP set had a different downgrader than MPH's and it was easier to use. I dont know if one will be made but i am trying to keep a little hope. I was hoping i would never have to be one of the people begging for a downgrader as i always had firmware 1.5 on my other PSP.

I HAVE heard success stories. I can't show any proof b/c I only read one or two posts and bailed... I don't have a 2.60, so I didn't really care or think about posting here to help ppl. But I HAVE heard success stories...

I figured if they look at it i can say while i was taking the batery out it ot ripped up and if they give me trouble i can argue with them untill they give in.

Does anyone know if i have to return the PSP to the exact location(ebgames) where i bought it or can i bring it to a Gamestop now that thier are consolidated.

My 1.5 PSP is broken(cant be fixed) becuase many connectors were broke on the motherboard.
