hi all
ihave read that there will be a new web browser for the DS, it is called DS Opera, of course it was inevitable that they would make one eventually. There is a down side though, it will set you back something like £22 which is not very good seeing as you get it standard with a psp.

IIRC, all versions of Opera are available for free - even the mobile versions - if you are willing to put up with the ads at the top right. And THAT can be easily taken care of with a HOSTS file. I just don't know if DS directly supports Hosts or DNS redirection or if you have to run a separate DNS.

Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

Or you could just load up your DS with linux and run Retawq (http://www.dslinux.org/wiki/Retawq). It's still a bit developmental at this point, but if somone has a working browser out, there's sure to be more coming up in the way of homebrew. Keep in mind OperaDS isn't going to support flash or many other features a typical browser does, so don't think retawq is plain inferior.
