Azuereus says no NAT but torrents do?

i have fowarded my ports now. at the bottom of Azereus at the bottom where theres "ratio", "NAT", and how many users says i don't have a NAT, ie it is green. but my download speeds aren't going any faster, and the smilie next to the torrets are yellow or blue. except occaisionally one will be green and the other 5 won't be and then even then, it's speeds don't seem faster still and then it goes back to yellow or something else after a while. i've done this before, i don't know why its like this
