so i downloaded bust a move just for an iso test since it was small but it wasnt in a rar type file it was just the iso?
what do i do? i went to the homebrew and iso guide but there was no loader and im still very confused..

you need to have devhook to load .iso files. But i had lots of problems with bust a move. the one game I couldnt get to work. I think I made a bad rip of it tho.

You create a folder in the root of the memstick named "ISO". You need it to be caps I believe. Place bust a move in there. If you get it to work please post back, I would like to hear your results.

uh im kinda new to devhook i went to umd select then i chose the iso from the iso and it went blank... then i turned my psp off and on now.. i tried to run devhook again but it went on autorun and my screen went blank once again.... then i reset it
now im just waiting i dont wanna do anything dangerous to my psp...

Devhook will in no way do anything to damage your psp. That is the good thing about it. Try these settings.

UMD SELECT - ISO of your choice
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.XX --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - REBOOT XMB

The rest leave at their defaults. Post back results.

I forgot to ask what version of devhook you have?!?

sorry for double posting but
i figured what to do.. but i still need assistance
i extracted the file...and got the PSP_GAME folder
and then i went to the PSP HOMEBREW 1.5 GUIDE and the ISO Loading part but the site the person refers to doesnt work where can i get the iso loader? =(

Devhook is an iso loader. There is no need to extract the files from the iso file. You drop the whole iso folder to the ISO directory in the root of you memorystick.

Delete the DH folder and then delete anything that has the letters DH in the game folder. (under psp). Then reinstall. It is pretty easy to use the easy installer for devhook. there is no manual copying, it does it all for you. If you want I can link you or I can create you an account on my FTP server and u can download it from there.

Back up your gamesaves then format the memory stick. Reinstall everything after that. Sometimes the psp can do odd things.

Aye your not a noobie. Noobs have no idea that theyre talkin about and cant put together a decent question to ask in the forum. The only homebrew I run is devhook and the snes emulator on occasion. What kind of things are you into as there is such a broad range of homebrews for the psp from games to organizers and wifi sniffers.
