Look on eBay. There seems to be a huge amount of DVD+RW vendors who are selling for less than the $10.00 retail rate.

I saw the DVD-R for 1.99 - didn't see the DVD+RW anywhere tho. Don't believe my burner will burn to anything else

He's talking about DVD __PLUS__ RW, not DVD __DASH/MINUS__ RW.. The HP standard, u know. Not compatible with DVD-R/RW and vice versa.

Nope, not yet. And managed to crash my HDD two days ago as well, so testing has been kinda hard. Anyway, I will give it a final test on Monday/Tuesday and mail you how it comes up. If it doesn't work on newly built, recently installed, totally clean setup I'm trying it on next week, then I'll send it back to you so you can figure out what to do with it.

Thanks - looks like for Optidisk (I think that's what the label says) sells for 4.90 ea.
