Gah! 2.50 upgrade eboot.

mmk, so i have a 2.01 psp and im trying to upgrade to 2.50 but whenever i try to run the eboot from eloader i just get a black screen which eventually either freezes up or just goes back to the eloader menu! any suggestions ?

you make a folder called UPDATE (must be in caps) in PSP/GAME and put the eboot in there. are you upgrading to 2.5 then back down to 1.5, im doing the same tomorrow if you are lol

no, to upgrade to 2.50, you need to take the EBOOT update and put it in a folder called UPDATE (ALL CAPS) and run it thru your homebrew list under GAME.

The location for this will be:

ms0:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE\EBOOT.PBP

ms0:\ is the DRIVE letter of your PSP; could be D, E, F, etc...

no, you dont need eloader, although you need it when you downgrade
