Hey, I have a general understanding of how to copy dvd's but, I just found out the reason I couldn't copy any dvds is because I don't even have a dvd burner in my computer! So, I need to know which external burner will work best copying dvds for it's price. Any comments will be appreciated.

Thanks
Nick

Try doing some reading in these forums. There are a number of threads below yours that discuss burners.

There's 3 routes you can go:

1)Internal would be the best route.Cheaper, faster, and there's some great internal drives for under $40
Pretty easy putting one in,or swapping out with an older cd-rom/cd-rw drive. Swapping, just use the same ide connector and set the jumpers on the back-pins-to the same setting as the older drive. You have Master/slave/and cable-select.

2)External: You'll need usb-2.0/costs more/and more crappier burners out there.

3)Internal drive-with an external enclosure: You'll be able to put a regular internal DVD-RW drive into this case, and hook it up usb-2 and/or firewire. Usually $20-$30 for that enclosure, but you have a better external burner.
